There were a few very loud claps I ascribed to louder-than-usual Ramadan firecrackers. Then I heard a kid call out "Ya baba!" Still thought it was firecrackers. Maybe a kid got burned. Cheers. Re: elections, if I'm not mistaken, there is a campaign to hold an emergency general assembly on 30 September to lobby for elections and lifting up the "government custodianship committee." Previous attempts have been met by State Security interventions to ban. I don't know if the Engineers will be able to hold it this time. I didn’t know about this mosque. Cheers.

If it has to do with the Engineers' Club, maybe it's because the Brothers are getting rather aggressive about contesting union elections. Are the engineers having an election anytime soon?
