Journalist Ibrahim Eissa’s appeal is ongoing today at the North Giza Court. The brave editor of the weekly Ad-Dostour is appealing against the one year prison sentence he had received for “defaming” Mubarak. The trial session has not ended yet, as I’m writing now. But I received news there were clashes in the court house, between the security forces and Eissa’s supporters and colleagues who showed up for solidarity.

According to a journalist present, the security agents cracked down on the journalists and activists present after they raised Egypt’s flags! “Take these flags down! Take these flags down!” the security agents were shouting as they assaulted the crowd.
