The Judges’ Club has announced it will be launching a campaign against Mubarak’s proposed constitutional ammendments, and in specific: a) Mubarak’s proposal to change Article 88 of the constitution that enforces judicial supervision over elections; b) the proposed counterterrorism law which is to replace the Emergency Law Egypt has lived under since the start of Mubarak’s reign. The counterterrorism law is expected to basically make the current Emergency Law a permenant reality.
