The workers at Ghazl Shebeen el-Koum Textile factory are continuing their strike and sit-in for the third day on the row. Minister of Labor Aisha Abdel Hadi, coming under pressure, has come out yesterday with a statement promising to look into the workers demands, but called for ending the strike immediately. The minister’s statement was rejected by the strikers.
