Journalist and friend Liam Stack had an article today in DSE about the torture debate in Egypt.

One thing that intrigued me in the article was one NDP apologist, Hussein Amin, who defended the regime in an interview:

He says he has seen videos of interns being tortured in Abu Ghraib in Iraq as well as photos of political prisoners abused in Guantanamo.
“If the Americans treat prisoners this way, I think that Egyptians take that as a model.”

Thanks America… Keep on spreading democracy baby…
