I received a statement from London-based Egyptian activist Yasser el-Sirri, saying a 23-year-old Moroccan Islamist suspect died in Sala Prison Monday morning. Youcef al-Aynous, according to the statement, was rounded up in Meknes a month and half ago, was undergoing interrogation, part of a security crackdown on alleged volunteers who want to travel to fight foreign troops in Iraq.

No official cause of death has been given.
