The attack against civil society continues…

Youssef el-Badri, a fanatic cleric who’s ironically also considered close to the govt circles, has filed a libel lawsuit against HRINFO, demanding a LE1 million compensation. Why? Because HRINFO defended secular blogger Kareem Amer, who’s currently serving four years in prison for “insulting Islam and Mubarak”…

The same notorious sheik is the one who sued secular poet Abdel Moa’ati Hegazi. Badri was also sued by a copt, after he publicly called for the killings of apostates…

HRINFO has been facing the heat for sometime now, as it’s in the forefront of defending electronic press and media freedom… My solidarity goes to leftist lawyer and friend Gamal Eid, the director of HRINFO, and his team…

Label a person “close to govt circles” & u are sure to kill a rebel, both politicaly & socialy.
His closest friends are likely to abondon him,no doubt he will end up in a mental hospital.
I don`t know what “Y-AL_BADRI”is fighting for ,but the writer has a bad intention to finish him off.
