The postal workers’ CWU union today announced the start times of the two 48-hour strikes.The first strike will cover all duties, scheduled attendance and overtime commencing at or after 12 noon on Thursday 4 October, and before 12 noon on Saturday 6 October.
The second strike will cover all duties, scheduled attendance and overtime commencing at or after 3am on Monday 8 October and before 3am on Wednesday 10 October.
This means that for mail centre workers on the late shift, the strike will start on Thursday 4 October.
