Finally in West Oakland… The trip overall from Cairo to the US has been good, no long transit hours, planes were not hectically busy as December, and no delays…

I managed to get some good sleep, and when I was awake, I was either watching documentaries or reading some of the Socialist Days 2007 booklets while listening to a good doze of Savatage’s classics…

Miss you all ya shabab, and I feel frustrated I couldn’t see many of the people I wanted to see, or do much of the stuff I wanted to do… Ma3lesh… Hope all is well…

Welcome back Hossam, give me a call when you are in Berkeley! I am busy Tuesday-Thursday from 6-10pm but we can chill before or after that if you like.

Of course ya Gohary I like it.. I like all stuff by Savatage as well as Jon Oliva’s projects.. But to be honest I’m more into their 80s and beginning of 90s stuff.. like the Gutter Ballet, Streets, Hall of the Mountain King, etc…
