Power to the Strikers

On the previous day, May 21…

A couple of hundred fishermen came to Paris to demonstrate against the increase in oil prices and the failure of the government to fulfill its promises (partly due to EU rules). While a delegation was received by the minister Michel Barnier, some protested outside the ministry, clashing with the police for about an hour with flares and emergency rockets. 3 policemen were seriously hurt. Everybody calmed down afterwards and no arrest were made.
