One of the interesting things I heard from our Lebanese comrades Simon and Bassem was that the events in Mahalla and the upturn in the Egyptian industrial struggle in general have had an indirect impact on the Lebanese labor movement, helping to galvanize the latter into action, and arousing the interest of the Egyptian migrant workers in Lebanon… I’m promised a short article about the subject by Bassem… So yalla ya gameel, enlighten us…:)
