the article is really strange, he’s analyzing Pottier’s poem using somebody else’s words. the version of L’internationale he is using is not a translation of Pottier’s words. And again, they are using a name to describe Anarchists socialists during the Commune that they did not self-declare (never read any of them declaring himself or herself as Proudhonist, simply because it’s an anti-anarchist term).
Did you ever came across a version sang in the orginale tune (the marseillaise)?
