Mohamed Maree is still on a hungerstrike in Bourg el-Arab Prison. He’s been moved to Section 15, while his fellow hungerstriker Sinai blogger Moss’ad Abu Fagr has been moved to Section 19. Both are locked up with “criminals.”

250 workers from the Mansoura-España Garments Company went on strike an hour ago, after the security banned Adel Hassaballah, the deputy head of the Factory Union Committee from entering the compound. The trade unionist had been fired earlier by the United Bank, charged with allowing journalists into the factory to speak to the workers…

Alsharq Alawsat Land Reclamation employees are protesting now in downtown Cairo, Abdel Khalek Tharwat st intersection with Champilion.. in front of the Arab Investment Bank, which owns the company… The workers haven’t gotten paid their salaries for three months, and the bank has been stalling their bonuses and grants since 2004..

I’ve just received news that MB blogger and friend Abdel Moneim Mahmoud has been stopped at the Cairo International airport, by Mubarak’s State Security pigs, on his way to Morocco to participate in a conference on press freedom. He remains detained in the State Security office in the airport as of time of writing…
