NDP sues Kifaya

Just where do they get the balls: Al Masri Al Youm, the quite reliable independent daily, today had an article claiming that five members of the National Democratic Party were suing three Kifaya leaders — George Ishak (one of Kifaya’ss main organizers, but who is rather elderly to be violent), Muhammad Abdel Qudous (a portly Muslim Brother in his late fifties) and Amir Salem (a journalist who also runs a NGO) — on the ground that they had insulted and hit them. Apparently, the claimants have presented at least one medical document as evidence that they were beaten. The prosecutor of the Qasr Al Nil district court has asked the three Kifaya members to come to court to answer questions.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black…

    Why not?
    They’re playing with all cards.
They made people think that Saad el Din is a criminal traitor bastard, and Ayman Nour is a dirty playboy and a criminal thug.
It’s now the turn of the peaceful demonstrators.

Wonder if Kefaya used any foul language in their demonstrations that could be taken against them?

Orwellian. No other word for it. The truth is what the regime says it is, in this country. You’d have thought capturing the beating of protestors and journalists on camera would have shamed them just a little. Oh no.
