Perhaps the guy responsible for this charade is the one pushing for persecution of the writer who exposed his idiocy. It appeared that the king was trying to advance two contradicting points (elections are important and you, my dear subjects, should participate in it; yet all the strategic objectives and the frame of action are decided by an unelected person, that is my royal highness). The king should fire the guy who wrote this idiotic speech. Perhaps the guy responsible for this charade is the one pushing for persecution of the writer who exposed his idiocy.
