Spot on Mr Richter! Somehow EgyptAir never seems to attract the critical attention it so richly deserves. Its role in the sell-off and destruction of the South Sinai coastline should be a matter of international outrage (not to mention Interpol investigation). In military dictatorships, the "flag carriers" are no doubt the last refuge of the scoundrel but as a 'touristic' country and a natural international transportation hub, EgyptAir's corruption and incompetence have probably done more to arm Egypt's future prospects than any other single factor.
