Al Jazeera will be giving more coverage to the Republican National Convention than the three main US networks. One editor's comments that "American politics for them [Arabs] is almost domestic politics" certainly rings true. I've heard several people say half-jokingly that they should be allowed to vote in US elections since they affect the Arab world so much these days.
