It seems that this has stirred quite a fuss, notably prompting a Pentagon investigation into how the pictures got to the Murdoch empire (entirely legitimate since soldiers should not be distributing this kind of stuff) as well as some outrage. I have absolutely no sympathy for the "you can't humiliate Arab leaders" stance that we saw after Saddam Hussein was captured. It hardly matters compared to the real abuse taking place in places like Abu Ghraib and the shocking lack of standards in security and military ranks that allows for torture to take place and pictures to leak out.
Besides, I kind of like tabloid journalism and cheap shots at powerful men.
