Now...there are institutions
Al-Jazeera is reporting that al-Ghad leader Ayman Nor called for a parliamentary committee to look into the molestation and assaults on protesters during the 25th of May.
The report cites that "a majority of some 100 MPs rejected the request at Saturday's session."
According to AP, 22 MPs had signed on to Nor's initiative calling for an investigation.
Unsurprisingly, NDP MPs are emphasizing that an inquery into the electoral violence does not have anything to do with them. Besides as NDP MP Hussayn Magawir argues "The judiciary is looking into those events."

In times of pressure (or its appearance), institutions and division of labor become important. The rest of the time...well...it is more ambiguous who and what institutions are doing what.
This is not really news...it is more like business as usual.
