El Masri

Someone has just alerted me to the fact that Wikipedia now has an entry for اللغة المصرية الحديثة ("modern Egyptian"). The entry is, appropriately enough, written in Egyptian Colloquial. It explains how "el Masri" has its own syntax and includes ancient Coptic, Turkish and European words.
